Quickie!

We had our photo shoot yesterday! Didn't get a chance to take a look at too many of the final photos but generally, everything looks cool! The glam factor is definitely there... gosh, i never thought i would find my face on a calendar. This should be quite an experience... You know how people always like to doodle on faces in the newspaper. I think its scary if you think about it, having your face printed on something like a calendar and creating chances for people to doodle on your face. Haha...

The photographer was very professional and he kept saying stuff that made us feel good about ourselves. Plus! He's really good at coming up with different poses! imagine coming up with different poses for all 24 of us! Not easy ok.... Think everything went really well, I hope the pictures turn up looking really shweeeeet!

Well, so far so good, haven't fallen sick or anything yet. Which basically means i've been getting enough sleep which in turn means that i haven't been studying enough. I need to buck up. I don't want to flunk my exams because of this competition... so for now, all you peeps out there, take care of yourself. the haze is really bad... I'm gonna have to bury myself in my books and finish up my school essay for now!

Clothes and Dance

Head down to mediacorp today to have our costume fitting. It was quite a mess cuz there were 24 of us milling around the wardrobe area... and that area is really small! The designers sure have alot of patience...picking out clothes for us to wear, listening to our ridiculous demands, enduring our shreaks of excitement and what nots. And helping us hang out messy clothes strewn all over the place!

Everybody was camera-whoring. Haha, i didn't do much camera whoring though... but that's only because my camera was on low batt, and my body was also on low batt. Too many late nights. Not enough sleep. I need more discipline. Came home early today.... but see. I'm still up at 2am...doing random things. Like trying to plan ahead of myself, figuring out what else i might need if i were to camp myself at mediacorp for a whole day of shoots. I'm a hungry girl, so i think i'll need to get a lot of rations to get me through the day! And yet, when i grocery shop...i have to think about which kinda of snacks will satisfy my stomach, my mood and yet not aggravate my throat. AHHH.... discipline discpline.

Dance was really fun! We ended up doing silly stuff as usual... and i am so glad there were no official cameras there during our dance practice today! if there were.. i would be most unglam. Ishi was our dance coach, and it was funny cuz there were some moves where he would jump up, jerk his head and his fringe would fly. I want flying fringe too.

Oh well, i hope we dance really well for the mv and put up a really good show for everyone! Throat getting scratchy... nasty.

Superstar, School and Much much more!

Dear friends,

I've removed my blog because of various reasons that have to do with my position as a contestant in Channel U's superstar. In a bit more, they will be setting up blogs for us on the official channel U website...and that should be our priority for posting updates and happenings. So, i guess, this blog which has stuck with me through thick, thin, ups and downs has to go.

In the meantime however, I'll continue to update this with little bits of stuff going on in my life...

Damn sleepy now. Just came back from recording the MV song at Ocean Butterflies. It was fun... but the weirdest thing is that i probably only spent half an hour in the recording room itself out of the entire 6 hours that i was there. Haha. Still not quite getting used to being myself in front of the camera. Grrr.
