End of e day...
Been here on orchard road filming e whole day and its a wrap! :) hope you peeps will like our third installment... Or rather e entire project la. I learned alot from this whole competition. Evolution vs Religion
Read an article this morning on Charles Darwin and his atheist tendencies(anti-religious). Its interesting how many times he almost believed in a GOD that existed who created the universe. Interesting how in a certain sense he half convinced himself not to believe because his beloved father and grand father were strong disbelievers and had both passed away... he felt that if he chose to believe in it, it would mean believing that his family was enduring eternal punishment in their afterlife.
Interesting how many many things in the world can affect our path to religion or away from religion.
Just a thought.
You know those games that people play online? Where they answer a chunk of questions and then pass it on to someone else. I used to think that these games were really silly... when i was being tagged and asked to pass it on. But now when i don't get tagged, and feel kinda out of the loop even though I want in. I start to see how a silly game like this could actually be your link to the rest of the world out there while you're still immersed in your own 'superstar' life or rather the life that is your result from joining the competition and making other decisions in life.
Its all about belonging. But when you feel you no longer belong, that's when you ask yourself if there's anything you can do about it or are the good times long gone.
Religion is definitely not just between you and God. Its the love between you and your fellowmen. I think I have a friend, who has been like a lighthouse on my life's journey. Although sometimes i ignore that light and search high and low for something else, at the end of it all you always shine most brightly. And yet, its sometimes so bright that it hurts my eyes and i dare not go near it.
At this point.... i feel... stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Teeth whitening woes and event cheers!
Let's start with the bad, i went for teeth whitening today and got my gums really reddish and swollen because i didn't check out my gum condition with a proper dentist first. it was really bad. I went to school, felt so much pain and discomfort i kept crying and didn't go in for lecture. It was really really bad.. my teeth have been really unlucky this year. First my wisdom tooth, now this.
For the sake of having pearly white teeth, tis' the pain i have to go through. But well, if it helps, you don't have to go through the same painful experience i went through as long as you do proper consultation with your regular dentist. As long as your dentist says your gums and teeth are fine and are in proper condition for the whitening process, everything goes.
Basically, extremely strong chemicals are used in the whitening process, but what happened was that i had calculus in my mouth, (not too sure if its a condition or something like plauqe) but what the dentist told me was that i hadn't had a proper cleaning of my teeth hence yellowish stuff and bacteria accumulated around the area where the gums and teeth are connected(eh, i have proper brushing regime ok, everyone gets that that's why we all have to visit the dentist for polishing now and then.)
Anyhow, that layer of bacteria and stuff was still there, so when i went for whitening, it allowed a space for the chemicals to seep through deep down to the roots of my teeth. And that's when i started feeling all the pain, its not excruciating pain but its a tingling feeling that feels much like an electric shock or you know sometimes the kind of pain you feel when you drink something too cold?? its like having EXTREMELY sensitive teeth.
Not just one tooth, but ALL my teeth. So that was really really unbearable. Sigh. I can't laugh or talk too loudly now, cuz when i do the cold air flows past my teeth and i feel tingly and "gao wei" all over.
Events!
Its the YES 93.3 concert on saturday and also campus superstar finals on saturday! I think i'll be one of the first few in the concert so maybe after that i'll be able to rush down to catch a glimpse of the final two battle it out and hopefully catch Carrie and Wenhai in action!(they'll be singing a duet on the campus finals... )

Not too sure its location, but its been a long while since we last had a chance to perform together... and its an exhibition so you peeps who are looking to buy a new camera, video camera, phone, television, stereo system can come down take a look...

方老师 has been a very important person in my journey to becoming a 'superstar' because he was the one who encouraged me to join and also the one who gave me a chance to learn teaching in his school.
I know alot have been said about him as a teacher, him as a person, him as a judge. But the bottomline is that he is still the very first person whom i met right at the beginning as i was discovering my passion in singing, in performing, the very same person who gave me a chance to be part of the first single in Music Clinic. The very reason i met so many great people like Calvina, Shiyu, Tony and all the xiao luo luo's like Justina and gao chao, fengzhen etc. So i am very very grateful and thankful for it all and hope that you all can support this concert of his. =)
Ok, finally(for real), thank you all for defending me on my tagboard. Actually, sometimes i secretly thank these meanish pokerish taggers for flaming me on my blog. Because the comments that pour in to go against these insults are always alot more overwhelming and gives me a chance to see how much support i have from you all. Thank you so much... so so much!
And to reward you all for reading such a long post without falling asleep! I give you... PHotos! (Ee... like that can? Not so boring right? )

Looking extremely juvenile is carrie yeo, she went mad and flicker crazy in toon town. Haha, But i'm not posting too many photos here because i know she's got one heck of a post coming along. So i leave her to do the honours... =)

Its called clash, and our group is called Brownian Motions, hopefully i get it right this time. Heh. The previous cute one which i linked up wrongly is by another group. There are seven groups in all for this competition, at the end of it, the results will be determined by 100% voting!
Anyway, we're doing this for the fun of it and to challenge ourselves before we start of on our FYP(final year project). So hopefully you peeps enjoy the clips... =)
Meanwhile, no particular updates except for the fact that i'm a little drained because of late nights and now sound a bit hoarse due to too much screaming in "I love sunday". Latest update would have to be that i'm now *hic* hiccupping non-stop while *hic* typing this post *hic*

Watched the movie for the second time today. its a great movie man, great cinematography, great cast(sorry, hilarious cast. Jay Chou has the knack for getting all his friends to co-star in his mtvs and alas! movie and it always creates a really good effect),great storyline,great popcorn. oops. Hahaha eh good pop corn is not easy to come by ok. I love watching my movies at Cathay because the pop corn is so tasty!
But really, Jay Chou was brilliant in the movie. His every expression, his every smile, every grimace, every finger movement totally captivated me....not once, but twice! I was not, for a single second bored the second time i watched the movie. Its really really good. YOu have to go watch it, buy its dvd and keep it for future reference or inspiration or whatever.
I'm not a good critic of movies nor songs nor anything else, I'm just good at saying what's on my mind. And all i can say is, go watch the movie. Be touched, tickled and taught jay chou's idea of pure love. =) Nice.
So nice i couldn't help but find myself recording the song on my computer...I wonder how long this sudden urge to do recordings will last. Haha... Should really be practicing the song i have to sing on "I love Sunday" tomorrow. which i totally pushed aside for 10 minutes of heart wrenching throat straining recording. *phew* It feels really good. =)
Maybe i'll let you peeps have a listen to it sometime soon. =) meanwhile... take care yah?

Preview....
I don't know where to begin, but i've got some photos so i'll share them with you first. =)
Well that's it for now! its really late! Finally finished the potter book today, did some work on FYP and even had time and the inspiration to spend 5 minutes recording "forever love'. that's what you're hearing now... heh. I like to record songs once in a while but i stopped at some point, don't know why i picked it up again... hope you like it. =)
I don't know where to begin, but i've got some photos so i'll share them with you first. =)
This was taken at the Hanabi festival. Their fireworks are cheorographed and i got to see fireworks in all sorts of different colours, shapes, patterns and those that totally fill the sky. It was a beautiful experience, we were quite near it too so that made it all feel really overwhelming. (Naoki however says that if we're even nearer, it would feel more spectacular ... as though shooting stars are raining down on you. Wow that would be cool.)
Its summertime now in Japan, but that didn't stop us from wearing the traditional japanese costume to watch the Hanabi. Its called the Yukata~! Carrie specially brought her beloved Yukata all the way to Japan just to wear it! I borrowed mine from Wei wei, who is the lady in red! We stayed in her house for the 7 days we were in Japan...heh.
Oh wowness! The macs at Japan has MC Pork! Its uber delicious... we bought one on the second last day of our holiday and it was so tasty i ate it all up without realising that i didn't leave any for Carrie! Haha... she was quite angry. heh heh. Sorry i'm a bit gluttony. Anyhow we got a lucky break while making a dash to our plane leaving for singaore. We saw a sign that said "Macs, 150m away".
So while i kept watch over all our barang barangs, Carrie made a mad dash for the Macs in a last ditch effort to obtain Mc pork! we had only a few hundred yen left and each Mc pork costs 100 yen(very cheap! like 1.30 cents) so she bought two!!!! yayness! I got to eat my second mc pork of the trip... hehe.
It was a really funny scene and we almost missed our flight because of the burgers. The moment she got the burgers, carrie came running out of macs waving the burgers in the air and shouting "I got it! I got it!"
This is what i call, simple joy.
Yay.

Well, I suppose a trip is never complete without some out of the blue for-no-reason-at-all, part-of-the-moment pictures! haha, here's one silly one early in the morning while we were having coffee...(nice coffee). Started taking silly pics, and here's one that looks almost exactly like the one on the yellow t-shirts my friends and fans made. Haha... this one was less posed though, it was really at the moment. i think this is my i-dunno-what-to-do pose. =)
Think this is was taken on the train, on the way somewher... haha like this picture cuz it shows carrie extremely contended with the coffee in her end. And she's wide awake, which means the coffee works! Mind you, she ended up finishing half of my coffee as well. hahahha, coffee addict she is.

Yes I am officially home!
Hello Hello Hello!
Arrived back in singapore 1.40am on a monday morning~! Was really tired from the flight and the seven days of walking. Seriously don't think holidays are meant to give you rest, i felt as though i've worked even harder but nevertheless it was a really good holiday!
Anyway so we touched down, and because it was so late we told our parents not to come pick us up, that we would take a cab back ourselves. So obviously, having time on our hands, we dily dalied and headed towards the duty free shop to run some errands(exp: buy perfume for friends).
Rang up my mum to 报平安 and the first thing she said to me was... "where are you now?"
"i'm coming home, taking the cab..."
"HUh? Isn't XXX coming to pick you up???"
I was like "WAHT?!??" (xxx shall be kept a secret due to special status...haha)
Ok, so she explained that Zijie had given her a call this afternoon asking about how my mum was and what time was my flight, and some how concluded that he and xxx were going to come pick me up. And also told my mum not to tell me (BUT SHE TOLD ME EVERYTHING!!!!)
hahahahaha, but even after telling me EVERYTHING, she somehow still managed to convine me that they might not come because it was quite a muddled up conversation and my scanning the vicinity over and over again, showed no signs of Zijie and XXX hiding in any corner(turns out XXX was in green and was camoflouged with bushes with zijie behind her.(oops, did i say her.)
Thank you Zijie and dearest XXX!!!! Hahaha ... it was very very sweet.
But i think the bad thing was that we ended up in my house till about 3.30am that i'm starting to feel a little guilty that perhaps the late night might have given zijie bad conditioning for last night's singing.
Nevertheless, i hope you all believe me(and all of us) when i say that i'm not disappointed at all. I am very very very very extremely proud of Ngeow Zijie for whatever he has accomplished in this competition. Its been an amazing journey i'm sure.... much like ours. but journeys always come to an end, but its up to you to see it as an end or just a beginning!
To all of you taking your O's and N's! Study hard ok! 最重要的是要对得起自己！

I am very very very very extremely proud of Ngeow Zijie for whatever he has accomplished in this competition. Its been an amazing journey i'm sure.... much like ours. but journeys always come to an end, but its up to you to see it as an end or just a beginning!
