Harry Potter and the curse of "muffin tops"
(inspired by the recent 8days cover of Radcliffe)

You know what's the downside of being in this industry?

There are so many things you need to keep up with! YOu need to keep up with style and fashion... and you need to make sure while you're doing that your wallet doesn't go flat and broke. And while all that is going on, you gotta try to remain/become thin. And also convince yourself that being short can sometimes be a really good advantage(although stats prove otherwise. I think Ezann has great potential...but she always ends up with cutey youngish roles. Wasted la.)



Need to try to lose a few pounds before the SPD show this sunday. Haha... I've put on quite a bit of weight since the grand finals. Gotta try to lose a little bit just in case i look like a blob on television alongside the nice longish, tallish, curviyish female artistes on Sunday. Hahaha...

This dance doesn't require too much force or energy...it requires skill, flexibility and alot of FEEL.

Neither of which i think i have achieved. My boss, my aunty, my mum have all had a good chuckle from the picture of us in dance poses on ..."Xin Ming wan bao"? My mum says i look stiff and weird. My boss cannot imagine doing such a girly dance..... My aunty just can't wait to laugh her socks off at me i think.(but i know she'll call the hotline to donate...)

Think its going to be quite an experience. Oh boy oh boy. And we'll be wearing tight tight stuff. Tight. Real tight, which explains the last minute ditch attempt at trying to shed a bit of my "muffin tops" ...hee hee hee. Quite futile actually, but at least i feel as though i've tried.

Lunch today was good. Mussels Vongole, a bit of carrie's fish and chips, some of Huiwen's fettucini and a nice portion of Boss' Lamb chops. Yummay.

Ooooops.

Watched Harry Pot yesterday...a little bit disappointing. There wasn't really a climax to the movie. But i think it was already a job well done... "Order of the phoenix" is possibly the LOR-SOH-est of the Harry pot books. So it must have been really hard to translate it to the big screen in 2 and a half hours.

Think the script writers must have read the book over and over... you know. With certain lines highlighted in different colours, and pencil markings all over. Very much like our textbooks. Haha.. That must take all the joy out of reading the book man.

Ah well, I'm very tempted to re-read the book though cuz i found myself very lost during the movie yesterday. Had to keep turning to the side to ask my cousin "eh, who is that ah?" and "why does voldemort need the prophesy huh?".

Maybe after SPD on sunday... then i'll have time to chew up the book.

Jiastin Harnee is flying back to West Point tomorrow. Sigh.. Sorry i haven't got more time to spend with you! But i'm really happy you always make it a point to come back and visit! Thank you!!!!! I will.... TRY to write. Heh heh heh.

p.s will be on "good morning singapore" tomorrow morning at 7.30am. Pray my face doesn't look like a swollen tomato with slits for eyes tomorrow... haha...I'm craving for a get-away....HK,Aussie, Japan...Genting?
