Oh dear, after all my ranting about how i'm so out of this tagging circle. I get reminded with a poke from jonnie that he tagged me, its just that i didn't realise it. Feel so stupid. Thanks Jonnie for remembering me. =) Sweet! So here goes!
--------
Rules of the game: Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end, you must choose six people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.
1. "Last piece syndrome"- I can never bring myself to finish the food on my plate and must always leave behind a crumb or two. Or when sharing something with friends, I'll always be wishy washy about the last piece, offering it time and time again to the others, refusing to finish it up myself even though I might have really enjoyed the dish.
2. I secretly kept two white mice as pets during primary school(my mum is totally against furry creatures) after reading Roald Dahl's "The witches". I built them their own bungalows out of cardboard and newspaper but they always chewed their way through it. Grrrr... Eventually one died of old age and one drowned.... =(
3. I was the only female in a primary school gangster gang which would compete against other gangs in school as to which gang could produce the most amount of eraser rubbings in a week. We would have "wars" in school using rubber bands and intricately folded paper bullets!
4. I had my own library business in primary school! Had a really rich buddy called Ms Ong Xinyue who owned like a whole lord of Archie Comics and Bookworm Club Books. So i borrowed them, set up a booth in class during recess and rented it out to kids who couldn't afford to purchase these books(it cost almost 5 bucks a book! And we only get 2 bucks a day lor...) at 50 cents per day! I split the profit with Ms Ong but i bet she doesn't remember.
5. I'm somebody who has many good friends but very few best friends. As a result, i sometimes find myself a bit of a drifter and sometimes wish i had one or two REALLY REALLY good friends. I guess, this part of me makes me rather insecure sometimes...
6. The first time i took an airplane, it was on a 16 hour flight to Los Angeles. I went there with my dad who was on a business trip. I sat alone in Economy class while he sat comfortably in Business Class. When i was cruising through the channels on Kris Flyer, I saw for my very first time, an R(A)-ed scene. I was so afraid that the air stewardess who were walking up and down the aisle would have seen it so i immediately shut it off and pretended to sleep. (they should really try to censor the channels man...)
7. when i was young, my idol was..... *drumroll* Jimmy Lin. WAh! I loved him to the core man! I was so so sad when he had to go to the army... hmm but he doesn't seem to have aged over these years.
8. When i was in primary school, I joined the choir for half a year and then my mum made me quit because it was taking up too much of our time(Nyps choir is quite reputable so we go to various competitions and events to perform). I eventually ended up in Library!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!! *pUlls hair* BUt it was so fun, I became president of the library club. We spent most of our CCA time wrapping books in plastic, having fencing sessions with the feather dusters and playing hide and seek(i always win, because i'm small and damn good at hiding.)
9. The first time(and last time la!) i stole something, it was at a stationary shop. I stole one of those postcards that has singapore's skyline on it. I didn't even steal it because i wanted it badly... I don't even know what came over me. I just took it. And i felt so bad for the rest of the month until i finally confessed to a friend.
10. Shit. I think i have naughty streak in me. But... when i was in primary school i used to forge my dad's signature. Not because my results are bad and i don't want them to know... but because we used to have this kinda like moral education notebook. I can't remember how it works ... but it was super LEY-CHEY. Every week i have to get my parents signature.. and obviously from time to time(actually, all the time la) i forget. And to avoid getting scolded by my teacher... I forge their signatures. Quite convincing really. Hahaha... I wasn't until half a year had passed did my mum discover this little book in my bag, open it up and to her horror! Find the signatures on the book looking a little suspicious. heh heh. She didn't beat me though, i think she was more amused than angry during that incident.
