Spending some time with 'Night'

Been really busy but the weird thing is. I'm suffering from insomnia tonight.

Sigh. I'm never like this... I always fall asleep anywhere and everywhere(especially in the car.) But now i can't fall asleep even though i haven't exactly been getting good proper sleep. I think its a messed up body clock. Slept at 4am last night... preparing for the performance tonight at the Life Long Learner awards at Raffles Hotel.

President Nathan was there to grace the event, and both me and carrie were really ganjiong spider because we had to sing english songs! Ah! And its so hard to find english song mmo... which meant we had to make do with whatever was available.

I ended up singing S Club 7's "bring it all back"(which was a fav of mine during my secondary school days...such a happy song!) and carrie sand "close to you". The most precarious song of the night had to be our duet... "when you believe". AHHH!!!!!! Its orginally sung by two divas.. whitney and Mariah Carey so you can imagine how difficult it was to sing this song! REally got our nerves all wrecked and disfunctioning ok...

Anyhows! It turned out to be really good! NO major screw ups.. we enjoyed ourselves and it seems everyone else did too! IT always feels good to be able to put up a good performance. Yayness! I'm also really really glad i didn't let my bosses down (Xiao Gua and Little Rice). I like the feeling of being able to put up a good performance and make the people i care about and treasure most feel proud of me... its nice.

So sorry i haven't been updating.. I've had such tiring days i don't even know where to begin or how to share my burdens and stress with you peeps. But everyone else has their burdens and problems right? So instead of indulging in self-pity and choral moaning, I kept myself going... in work, in school. I've really really been trying my very best and i know it still isn't enough. Its the end of the school term... and i do hope i'll be able to get the best i can. Sigh... its been a rather lousy school term for me academically and i implore all of you out there to treasure your chance to study. =)

On a lighter note, today's the deadline for our 422 video documentary which is on the queuing syndrome in singapore done in a nice light-hearted MTV style. Heh heh. I did the sound track which i'm really really proud of(huimin was the creative brain behind most of the lyrics!) and i am looking forward to the screening on tues. Weehee! Shunyi and Edwin almost lost their mind doing the editing and colour correction... so no matter what! I am going to be so proud of the final product.. and i hope nikki likes it too! Aiya, its always a bonus when you get good grades right. =P

Once this is over and our FYP meeting with the great sinema.sg crew is over, i'm so burying myself in Media Law. I have to become Media Law guru somehow.
