Revolting, Disgusting, Despicable

Been in search of 2 Cat 1 Jay Chou tickets for the 18th and its been tough! There used to be a time when Jay Chou was a luxury for not only the rich who could afford it but also the good people who scrimped and saved in advance just to catch a glimpse of his mighty Chou-ness at work.

But now, Jay Chou tickets are simply the fast track to earning quick bucks which is way DESPICABLE!!!!! I don't think Jay tickets sold out so quickly because it was quickly snapped up by people who WANTED to watch the concert but rather by people who wanted to SELL and make MONEY out of this whole event.

It was so difficult to get hold of the tickets but I'm really very very thankful for J and A's help! It was the first day of ticket sales and the queue at sistic was already comparable to the 179 queue at Boon Lay mrt, and apparently the sistic website was hanging up. So in a desperate move i msged J: "Are you awake?I need a favour. Life and Death!" to my surprise(and deep gratitude) J called back and in a really sleepy and throaty voice said "Hello? Ya? I'm awake...whassup?"

So I've got my tickets, but not after alot of twists and turns to this story which i OBVIOUSLY am not going to elaborate on because i am LAZY. HAHAHAHA....

Anyhow, there's still alot of people out there who haven't got tickets and i feel bad so i went online in search for real fans of jay chou who might be selling of their tickets due to last minute circumstances. I just ended up in a black market where the tickets were going at absurbly high prices!

THis particular one pissed me off the most!

The starting bid has to be above 600 dollars!!!! that's already a hundred dollars more than what the tickets are selling for at sistic! And "Buy it now" at $1000/=! That's madness la. But that's not what got me blood curdling... I understand how money-minded our society is, our economy is what drives us all going. And i suppose based on our different backgrounds and circumstances there might be a hundred and one reasons why anyone would do this.(Like how Li Nan Xing did so many bad things but he's essentially not immoral.)

What really got me angry was that the seller said this in the description....


"A Pair of Cat 1 Jay Chou World Tour 2008 18th Jan Tickets for Sale!!.. Seating plan is Block A13 Row 8 seat 2&3. Due to work commiment i have to give it a miss!!...sobx.. Genuine buyers can email me at ...."

How can that be true!!! You're selling the @#$!#!@# tickets at 1000 dollars!!!! *faints*

I think i wouldn't have been so angry if the seller had just left the part about being all sobx and whinez about not being able to go due to certain "work commitments" out. Grrrr.

Anyhow, on a "heavier" note(heavier because we're all one kilo fatter now). Food makes me happy! And it makes my FYP mates happy too! After a late but uberlicious dinner at Arab street bout two days back, we ended up in Geylang for durians! Which made producer Huimin super Happy!!!! SHe was so happy she didn't catch me snapping away with my phone...
