Class of Singapore Super Trio 08
(warning: loads of photos, lorsoh me.)

"As I walked into the building, I didn't know how to feel. Was i dressed appropriately? Would I look or feel out of place?

I was nervous, and was glad to have Carrie with me. She had volunteered to come and accompany me because she knew i would feel this way.
It felt as though my mum was bringing me to kindergarten for the first time.

Then I saw Junli! And I was happy to see him because that meant there were 2 familiar faces and it helped that I knew Junli was hosting the event. I started to feel more at ease....

The glass doors near the lobby were flung open blinding my eyes with the midday sun-rays and *gasp* I held my breath as a lady in green sashayed over accompanied with her own entourage of assistants and make-up artists. "

And then I stopped. I lost all inspiration... and also I realise, I have returned all my composition writing skills to my teachers in Primary school, Secondary school and JC. Sigh.

Now all i know how to do, is ramble on with no particular structure.

Anyhow, the sashaying lady in green turned out to be Christy! Who was to be the official translator of the Singapore team since she was the only one who spoke fluent cantonese. The rest of us can hardly count in cantonese... oh and Christy is also the hot FHM babe who sings the "wedding of the year" theme song with Hagen!

In a nutshell, it was wackiness to the C-O-R-E. I loved the whole experience even though I didn't get much sleep the first night because we were all pretty hungover from hanging out at Chin Ka Lok's room and I couldn't sleep even though the hotel beds were so comfy because i was aching all over. I am such an old lady. I am in dire need of exercise and free badminton coaches. *hint hint*

The games on the first day of filming had to be the most physically challenging ones. Ok, not had to, IT IS the most physically tiring of the lot. The worst had to be the one on the floating platform because you had to keep your balance and at the same time exert all your 吃奶 strength in a bid to push the opponents off.

I got scratched, tugged at, and almost had my sports bra pulled off. YIKES!

Well, to be fair, I scratched, tugged at and almost pulled off quite some modesty off the hk artistes themselves.

But they're really strong and experienced in the games! In one of the rounds, I was supposed to charge over to their float and attempt to knock them off balance. I LEAPED over and LUNGED forward, and *WHAM* hit a brick wall of bodies, had my nose reattach itself to Toby's elbow and fell into the water, causing NO damage to them AT ALL. brilliance at its worst. -_-"

But we had ALLAN WUUUUU!!!! SO we had nothing to fear. He was the ultimate 铁甲人 man. He was the unbeatable Allan WU. He was Mighty WU. He totally made up for midget Tan.

They had Allan against like 101 different combinations of artistes, and he beat all of them without fail even when he was totally vandalised with red, blotchy scratch marks all over and totally exhausted. Mighty WU.

I shouldn't be telling you all so much. I think even if you sat me down at a Kopitiam over 10 cups of teh-o-peng-siu-dai. I couldn't finish with the stories of adventure i accumulated over the 3 days spent at Sentosa. So I'll not bore you with my words any further and let the pictures speak for themselves!

At the press conference

Team Singapore gearing up for the games in their
own unique singapore 'anyhow anyhow do warm-ups' style.

Looking cheery and DRY before the games
(spot bosco)

First Game: Human Hula
Juxtapose: Sound man's tangled wires, Me tangled up with Ben.
I was so giddy after being spun around 13 times
within 60s by Ben I felt like puking...

Preparing for the second game...
on Mighty Wu's mighty shoulders.
Juxtapose: Midget Tan on Mighty Wu

I couldn't bring glory to Singapore in terms of the
FFF(flesh flash factor) but i did try my best at trying
to chomp on the pineapple while balancing myself
on Ben's skinny shoulders

(poor guy, i think he was crumbling under my weight!)

And then it was the Floating Platform battle!
dee: "We have to tape our fingers????" *incredulous*

Organiser: "To prevent your fingernails from being pulled off (0_0!)
and so artistes don't hurt each other..."
Dee: "orh....."
I had scratches and Bruises even when fighting with taped fingers.
Can you imagine the bloodshed had we not taped our fingers?!?

Still looking cheery.
Totally oblivious to the perils of the challenge...

Not so cheery anymore huh?
Here we bare our teeths(and our taped fingers) in vicious tenacity.
Grrrr!

This is like the ONLY shot of Allan in the water.
Its a PRIZED shot. It is more than a shot of Allan in water.
It is a shot of Allan falling into the water with BOTH feet UP!~~
spot: Bed walking on water! Ben jumping teams!

Final deathmatch. Two Singapore Girls vs Two Canto Queens.
We stayed in this position for the longest time ever.
Angela Tang Ying Ying(girl in my arms) kept giving me flying kicks in the stomach but i held on for my dear life.

It was a tie. YAY!!!!

Hamming it up for the camera.

Sun burnt.
(left to right: Jac, Ben, Stich, Mag. Christy and Alan's missing!)

The great team of boys at NUM vivo who helped me get
a great discount
on the Singlet I wore at the games.
They were so friendly and bubbly and... cute!

Thank you guys! I really really really appreciate it!

Long post eh?

Too much stuff to blog about on this... there's still lotsa shaving cream, lotsa morbid fun, lotsa goofing around that i haven't blogged about!

so I'll continue on another post next time...some time... SOON!
