God sent me a friend

We listen, but we do not hear.

He speaks, but we do not receive.

"Who's to say the pain will be gone."

Because the pain is proof that we loved, and lived.

"Surrender the pain, even the pain of loving God, and let him be your strength to you."

I look around me, and i know its true.

But my heart is blinded. Blinded by lust, by greed, by loneliness, by anger, by doubts,
by discontentment, by sadness, by desires.

I have to let it go. Before I go totally blind.

With his grace and power.

And the people he's placed close to me.
