Yesterday's awesome recording was not by my might.
And if empowerment means only being empowered for a night, and then conquered the next.
I'll be damned.
Even if salvation is 100% secured, I have no face to face the heavens.
No, I don't need a psych.
Let me work it out.
"For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives,
so also through Christ our comfort overflows." - 2 Corinthians 1:5
so also through Christ our comfort overflows." - 2 Corinthians 1:5
When we hear news that someone has passed away, especially if its a sudden death. We always say
"oh dear, life is so fragile. Better live with no regrets. Do whatever we wanted to do now."
Life on earth, in whichever religion you believe in is really only a trickle of time in eternity.
If your purpose was to do what YOU wanted to do here on earth on your time here on earth. Does that sound a little silly?
I mean we're complex beings. We can think. We can feel. We can make choices.
Human beings have been spending millions and years on recreating robots that function like us and on movies that have "astalavista baby" robots. And yet we are no where near recreating a being that is anywhere up to our superiority as living beings.
So yes. We're amazing walking, talking organisms. And we're here to take the world by storm. No?
So if really, we were made so amazing just to do what we wanted to do.
Then I really feel very lost.
Because what we want to do always changes.
Most of the time, I have no idea what I want to do.
Yeah sure, sing.
What if one day I lost my voice?
Does that mean I've lost reason for living? Purpose for living?
No. No. No.
It can't be. I can't tag the value and purpose of my life to this. There's more. There has got to be more. I was made for something, something greater. Great not in the worldly sense, of great leaders, and great revolutions, and great corporations and great debts, and great tabloid news, and great discoveries.
No not necessarily.
Greatness, is in the depths of your heart.
Is in running the long race.
Is in the smallest of fractions of life.
Its in the little light you shine into the darkness.
Even the littlest of lights, can be seen in the darkness.
Give me oil in my lamp. Keep me burning, burning, burning.
Look at yourself today. Look at the way your fingers move at the will of your mind.
(I'm not kiddin. Take 5 seconds to JUST LOOK. Flex those tiny things.)
Your eyes, they're above your nose. So that when you sneeze. You don't get booger into your eyes. Could you have placed your eyes there because of evolution? Because our forefathers got booger into their eyes at first, and then willed the eyes to play "blow wind blow" with your nose?
We're amazing creatures.
But the one who made us.
Amazinger.
And now, my legs are going to take me somewhere while my hands bring along some cash and a book. So I can buy myself a cuppa, take some time to quiet down myself and let some words fill the abyss of my heart and mind.
