Love

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son. That whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16. 

I think even some non-christians may have heard this famous verse. 

Today it struck me, that love hurts. 

It's that one thing we expect from others, but we hope that when it comes to us, hurt can be taken outta the equation. 

When God gave us his Son, Jesus to die on the cross. It must have hurt like hell. 

Imagine watching someone you love going through all that pain, and having to turn your face away from it all. In your heart, all you want to do is touch his face, tell him you're there, tell him you've got it all planned out... 

Must have hurt like hell. 

Love, is not just happy sappy living. 

But because of such great love, we're allowed to whine and take for granted the things we have around us. We're allowed to fall and hurt, and recover and heal. We're given the grace to make the same mistakes over and over again, hurt the same way over and over, hurt the same people over and over again. 

And still know, that true love does exist somewhere, out there. 

So we keep trying, we keep loving. 

Love with all your heart, all your might, and all your soul. 

Being able to love in full measure, is such a wonderful feeling. 

Being able to sing on stage, is one of those moments in life where I'm able to let it all go, and sing the way I want to, without worrying too much about the consequences of this love for the stage. 

It's like everything else fades away, and for those few minutes, all I know is to live and love that feeling of just free-falling. 

It's like falling asleep in a meticulously chosen bedsheets, with the warm afternoon sun shining in, knowing that there's nothing else to do but rest for the day... because it's the weekend and you've got everything you want at that moment. 

If I make sense to you, keechiu. 

If you're both loving and hurting at the same time, keechiu. 

If you feel a strain in your upper back, you've been bending over your laptop too long.. 

and definitely need to kee your chiu high high into the sky and give those muscles a stretch.
