Clipped

There's a reason why singers always come of as haughty or proud to the people they work with.
Its because contrary to what people want to believe,
these singers actually do have a mind of their own.
Just think about it.
But they're the people least entitled to have a mind of their own.
Its complicated because, they're no boss of the company, they don't have money in their pockets to support the volume of their voice, they rely on opportunities provided by whoever, and rely on the goodwill of others.
But they're the ones who get slammed, they're the ones who get shot down, they're the ones people form an impression about, they're the ones who have to come out, speak out, and explain themselves.
I think singers are just like an amplified version of every single one of us.
I mean, you don't have to be a singer to have felt this way before right?
Well, correct me if I'm wrong.
Oh yes, and on a side note.
Trying to rock when not a rock is like my toothbrush pretending to be a car,
painful to the ass and directionless.
"I'm feeling a little bruised, but the sky is the blanket I wanna worm under to heal..."
