Faith

Today, I learnt that faith is in speaking it in confidence.
Even if at the end of the day, you look like a fool.

But you would be a fool who believed with all your heart in the unseeing.

Today, I drew courage and strength from knowing that in the past I was always afraid to speak and claim things in my name, or in his. I believed, I knew I had a good chance in many things, but I was too afraid to speak up for fear that I would jinx it, I would look like a fool if it didn't happen.

Faith, is in the unseeing.

Before Noah's time, people hadn't even heard of rain.
So when God told Noah that he would send rain, and it would go on for 40 days and 40 nights...
You can imagine how crazy everyone else must have thought of him when he passed on the message to them.

"Simi rain?"
"Gagantuan boat on land???"
"You're either crazy, or you're crazy."

And still, he did it.
He did it in faith.
And everytime someone asked him, he repeated the same message. That God would be sending rain, and it would rain for 40 days and 40 nights.

It took him years to build that boat.

If I was Noah, at some point... I think I would have started believing the rumours that I was crazy.

I have faith, that I'll be able to make you something a little spectacular from the heart.
Faith, that I'll be able to keep my chin up, despite the turn of events.
Faith, that perhaps this time, the wind will be in my favor.
Even if I end up looking like a fool.
Tralalalala...

Oh, I also learnt today...
that Eve didn't eat an apple.
She simply ate "a fruit", and only God knows what kinda fruit that is.
